Configure an MNM Administrative Group

In MCD Release 4.0 and later, all elements in the network belong initially to the default administrative group (System default).

  2. Ensure SDS is enabled and that all the elements are sharing data.

  3. Move the member elements from the default administrative group to a new group (see Define Administrator Groups.)

NOTE: Multi-node Management is only supported in SDS Administrative Groups that contain 20 or fewer elements.

  4. Assign administrators with access rights (see Assigning Administrators).

  5. SDS Form Sharing form

  6. Ensure that SDS is sharing the User Authorization form data at the Admin Group Members scope. See Specifying the Shared Data for details.

  7. Define the data that you want shared across the Administrative Group at the Admin Group Members scope. See Specifying the Shared Data for details.
